When we first worked on solving the password problem we focussed on clients connecting to servers. i.e. People logging onto to web servers. But since that time we have also worked out how to avoid using passwords when connecting server to server and when users use a site anonymously.
Just recently we were asked how to use the same technology to connect from a “service" to another “service"… and it looks like we have done it.
After an admin verifies that the service request is legitimate we have worked out how to take the same simple key pair thinking with rolling one time key generation and applied it to services connecting to each other… it actually quite exciting to solve this problem as it shows our migration form solving the original problem to becoming an across-the-board foundation technology.
