There has been lots of discussion about IPFS and how to add a search engine to it. I dont know why its so obvious to me but since all gateways simply add a files CID to a gateway domain ie https://gateway.com/CID why not just strip the domain and treat the CID by itself as the index link for search results.
This approach also addresses Googlebots issue of indexing the same data from different http/ ipfs gateways. AmI imagining this?
